Naughton Scholarship

4th Year Poster Presentation Showcases Student Excellence at The HUB, UCC

The School hosted its first-ever 4th Year Poster Presentation on 20 November in The HUB at UCC, marking an exciting new addition to the final-year student experience. The inaugural event brought together students, academic staff, and postgraduate researchers for an engaging afternoon of scientific discussion and celebration. The posters showcased a wide range of research topics, highlighting the creativity, hard work, and innovation of the 4th year cohort.

UCC STEM Awards 2025

On Wednesday 19th or November 2025 the UCC STEM Awards took place in Devera Hall. Each year, the College of Science, Engineering and Food Science (SEFS) recognises and celebrates the successes and achievements of students and researchers during the previous academic year. These include high-profile award recipients nominated for recognition by their unit, college-level award winners, and industry-supported scholarships and prizes. Students from within the college who have received university-awarded prizes may also be recognised.
